Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Powerize Properties collects when you use this website or ask us for a free sample, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

Powerize Properties is run by Noaman Patel, a sole trader based in West Yorkshire, UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Noaman Patel is the data controller.

What we collect

When you fill in the free sample form or message us, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone or WhatsApp number (if you give it)
  • what best describes you (for example, Airbnb host or estate agent)
  • the link to your property listing
  • any photos you upload or send us, and anything you write in the message box
  • basic technical details: the page you sent the form from and which link or advert brought you to the site (UTM tags)

Listing photos usually show a property, not people. If a photo you send includes people or personal items, we will not use it for anything beyond your edit.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To send you your free sample and reply to you. You asked us to, so we use your details to take steps at your request before any contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To deliver work you pay for and invoice you. This is needed to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)), and to meet our legal duties for tax and accounting records (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To understand which adverts and links work. This is in our legitimate interests in running the business sensibly (Article 6(1)(f)). We only look at this in summary.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We will only contact you about your sample and any work you ask for.

Your photos and our portfolio

We will only show your before and after photos on this website or our social media if you have said yes. You can change your mind at any time and we will take them down.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They only process your information on our instructions:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions.
  • Google (Gmail) for email.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there.
  • Photo editing software, including AI tools, used to enhance your photos and make walkthrough videos. These providers only process your photos to deliver our service.
  • Our accountant, if needed for tax records.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your information leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • If you ask for a free sample and don't go ahead: we delete your details and photos within 12 months.
  • If you become a client: we keep invoices and related records for 6 years, as HMRC requires. Working files and photos are deleted within 12 months of the job finishing unless you ask us to keep them.

Cookies

This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to limit how we use it, or object to us using it
  • ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere

Email hello@powerizeproperties.co.uk and we will reply within one month. There's no charge.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
